Glütless

Gluten-free bakery and cafe in San Francisco

Glütless (pronounced like 'glootless') was a small gluten-free bakery I opened in 2016 in San Francisco. It was a passion project - something that started out of necessity, because I have Celiac.

This was one of the hardest jobs I’ve ever had—and the least financially rewarding. Yet in terms of human connection, it was by far the most meaningful.

While I wasn’t able to sustain this little bakery for long, it was rewarding—and a source of solace—that in just over a year since opening, Glutless became the top-rated gluten-free spot in San Francisco, based on online reviews.
